Thanks for your patience our Do-Over friends as we waited four years for last Sunday, the day when you could finally experience Do-Over with a full bar and we are now having second regrets. If it’s not the hangover we are still suffering from Sunday then it’s the late night karaoke session by Haycock & Strong that is still ringing in our heads as a result of one too many shots. Ayayaya… Dios mio! It was indeed a day to remember, as the place was jam packed with patrons enjoying everything from an early afternoon bloody mary to a late night shot of tequila. The booze was definitely flowing as was the overall energy from the crowd who got down early to Haircut’s boogie brigade followed by Haycock’s party rocking set which took the energy up even more to set things up perfectly for The Beat Junkies Rhettmatic and Chocolate Bar / Umoja man DJ Daz who both held it down with extended sets that kept the dance floor moving all night long to dancehall, hip-hop, and house.

The Final Six: When we first started Do-Over four years ago, we created a ‘Dream List’ of DJ’s to rock a set at Do-Over and have been quite fortunate to be able to cross-off some names on that list. There still are a few remaining, but thankfully this Sunday, we can cross-off another one as we welcome one of Motown-Philly’s finest which is not to be missed! Early arrival highly recommended.
